Not a lot of new news but we do know that CityScape appears to be moving forward in downtown Phoenix.
Reportedly the developers have secured some sort of commitment from Wachovia Financial to be the anchor tenant in the 600,000 square foot office portion of the project. I know CityScape is considered controversial and unpopular with a vocal portion of our citizenry but I have to say that it may be the pivotal piece needed to make downtown Phoenix work. However, is it truly the highest and best use of the space? Time will tell.
